Chris Hess has over a decade of experience finding solutions to homelessness by managing and funding services in affordable and supportive housing. Since joining SAHA in 2013, Chris has played a key role expanding SAHA’s supportive housing, youth services, volunteer and transportation program offerings; and implementing data-driven quality assurance programs for supporting seniors aging in place. Prior to SAHA, he was with Resources for Community Development for five years including three years as Director of Resident Services. Before his time at RCD, Chris worked in advocacy and fundraising related to community development, and in social services for persons with severe physical disabilities. He has also volunteered abroad at nonprofit organizations in India, Colombia and Vietnam, and celebrates the multicultural environment among SAHA diverse resident population. Chris earned his Master in Public Administration at Presidio Graduate School and his Bachelor's degree in Social Welfare at the University of Kansas.
