Clifton Hall was built in originally 2002 by California College of the Arts as a dormitory to house 126 students in the desirable Rockridge neighborhood. In 2021 the City of Oakland purchased the property utilizing the state HOMEKEY program and undertook renovations of the units and common spaces. The property is now operated by SAHA as permanent affordable housing for seniors, with 41 bedrooms in shared 2bd units with common areas and amenities. On site property management and resident services support our residents in this independent housing.
