Tabora Gardens Senior Apartments is one of the first projects in the state to provide permanent, affordable housing for veterans with assistance from the HCD Veterans Housing and Homeless Prevention Program.

AHA merged with Satellite to form SAHA, and we continue to be committed to developing housing for those with the fewest options.

On October 20, SAHA celebrated breaking ground on Tabora Gardens Senior Apartments, the new construction of 85 apartments for seniors aged 55 and older with 43 homes set aside for veterans, chronically homeless veterans, people with disabilities and people with HIV/AIDS.

SAHA's Arboleda Apartments and Strawberry Creek Lodge both won 2016 PCBC Golden Nugget Awards for their exceptional design, planning, and development.

Summer is a busy season here at SAHA. We are laying the groundwork for six new developments from Napa to Oakland to San Jose. And we have dozens of programs for our residents and neighbors running all summer long, including summer meal programs, community gardening and special celebrations.

Earlier this month, more than 320 SAHA residents from across the Bay Area joined together at our 3rd annual Senior Field Day at AlbanyMemorial Park.
