Park Boulevard Manor

Eligibility

• Head of household must be 62 years or older at the time of application.

The waiting list for 1-bedroom units at Park Boulevard Manor opens on February 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on March 24, 2026.

Applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications will be available to pick up at 4135 Park Blvd, Oakland, CA 94602 at the following times:

• Thursday: March 19th
• 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Paper applications must be mailed to the address listed on the application. Applications submitted by mail must be received by the manager’s office by 5:00 PM on March 24, 2026.

A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. All applications will be placed on the waiting list for consideration. If additional applications are needed, we reserve the right to process the next applications in lottery order.

• To be eligible, the applicant must be at least 62 years of age or older as Head of Household, co-Head of Household, or spouse. Or, an applicant must have a disability, without limitation as to the nature of the disability and be 18 years of age or older, or legally emancipated. Qualifying applicants with minor children are still eligible.

The waiting list for 1-bedroom units at Homes Now in the Community opens on March 4, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on March 24, 2026.

Applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications will be available to pick up at 4135 Park Blvd, Oakland, CA 94602 at the following times:

• Thursday March 19th, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Monday: March 23rd, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Tuesday: March 24th, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Amistad House

Eligibility

• Head of household must be 62 years or older at the time of application, or 18 or older at the time of application and have a disability.

The waiting list for studio and 1-bedroom units at Amistad House opens on March 10, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Applications will be available to submit online. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on March 24, 2026.

Applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications will be available to pick up at 2050 Delaware Street, Berkeley, CA 94709 at the following times:

• Monday: March 16, 23; 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Tuesday: March 10, 17, 24; 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Thursday: March 12, 19; 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Valley View Senior Homes

The waiting list for 1-bedroom units at Valley View Senior Homes opens on June 25, 2025 at 9:00 AM. The closing deadline has been extended to June 3, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Applications must be submitted by mail. Paper applications will be available to print online. Applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on June 3, 2026*.

Eligibility

• At least one member of the Household must be a Veteran (all discharge status). Head of household must be age 55 or older at the time of application. If there are any additional members, they must be age 45 or older or meet an exception. Please see the flyer for exceptions.

Paper applications are available for pick up at 1 Natalie Lane, American Canyon, CA 94503 during the following times:

Tuesdays and Thursdays
During the Waiting List Opening
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

*Paper applications will be available online to print. Paper applications must be postmarked by June 3, 2026 and received at the address listed on the application by 5:00 PM on June 10, 2026. Please call (707) 980-7679 for assistance.
