Ashby Lofts

Located at the gateway to Berkeley, AHA received over 1,100 applications for Ashby Lofts. The property includes one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging in size from 600 to 1,200 square feet, with monthly rents ranging from $455 to $1,062. Eighteen of the units are designed as two-story lofts that include open mezzanine areas that can be used as home office space or playrooms. The complex also includes a community room with computer lab, laundry facility and a play structure for children. The project incorporates environmentally friendly features including natural linoleum flooring, recycled-content carpet, nontoxic paint and a hydronic hot water system. All electricity for the community areas and outdoor lighting is provided by solar photovoltaic panels.
