The waiting list for 3-bedroom units at Manzanita Family Apartments opens on August 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM. A valid email address is required to apply online. Online applications must be submitted by 5:00 PM on September 1, 2026.

Paper applications will also be available online to print. Paper applications are available for pick up and drop off at 2951 Soscol Avenue, Napa, CA 94558 at the following times:

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Starting August 18
  • 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Paper applications must be received at the address listed on the application by 5:00 PM on September 1, 2026. A lottery will be conducted for all applications received by the deadline. All applicants will be placed on the waiting list for consideration.

In the fall of 2015, the City of Napa selected SAHA through a competitive RFP process to develop a 100% affordable rental housing development, and in May 2016, the City approved a formal development agreement with SAHA. Manzanita Family Apartments will be targeted to families and will consist of approximately 51 apartment units, including one manager’s unit, within a single three-story building.

The property is well located with respect to local services, amenities and public transit, with a grocery store, pharmacy (CVS) and public park within walking distance (0.5 miles), a major regional hospital and shopping center, with three major grocery chains, and a Target within 1.5 miles of the site, and bus service to Downtown Napa located within easy walking distance.
