Arya, located at 500 Almaden Boulevard (formerly 226 Balbach Street), consists of 87 units (including one manager’s unit) within a single eight-story building. The unit mix consists of 19 studios, 54 one-bedrooms, and 14 two-bedrooms. The development will be targeted to families and artist households. The development is well located with respect to local services, amenities, and public transit in Downtown San Jose.
SAHA completed the entitlements process in January 2019, and began to secure soft financing commitments at that time. Groundbreaking is targeted for 2020, with estimated completion in 2023.
