In the fall of 2015, the City of Napa selected SAHA through a competitive RFP process to develop a 100% affordable rental housing development, and in May 2016, the City approved a formal development agreement with SAHA. Manzanita Family Apartments will be targeted to families and will consist of approximately 51 apartment units, including one manager’s unit, within a single three-story building.
The property is well located with respect to local services, amenities and public transit, with a grocery store, pharmacy (CVS) and public park within walking distance (0.5 miles), a major regional hospital and shopping center, with three major grocery chains, and a Target within 1.5 miles of the site, and bus service to Downtown Napa located within easy walking distance.
